About Amode

Home is an important place – it’s where we feel at ease in the comfort of our own surroundings. An escape from the chaos of the day to day, a sanctuary where we rest our feet and lay our heads, a playground where we entertain ourselves, our families and our friends.
Home is also where we make an expression of style and reflect our taste and personality through the medium of design.
Home can mean many things for many people.

People often ask us what makes Italian furniture so good?

To that we would say it’s all about passion. Passion for design, passion for quality and passion for innovation. All of these ingredients mixed together create the beautiful, elegant high quality contemporary furniture that Italy, and Amode, is renowned for.

Our passion for Italian design began over 5 years ago in 2007 when Amode was born, and continues to this day. All of our furniture is made in Italy with workshops throughout the country. From the northern city of Forli where our sofas are handcrafted by master upholsterers, to our factory in Pordenone where our storage furniture is produced and lacquered, to Grezzana, Verona where our beautiful wood dining tables are lovingly hand-finished by skilled Italian furniture makers. In fact the only items that aren’t  made in Italy are our fantastic mattresses, which are proudly made in England to exceptional quality standards.

Throughout our website, catalogue and showroom you will find modern Italian furniture for the living room, dining room and bedroom. We offer a plentiful array of colour and finish options for most of our furniture and it is really worth visiting our showroom in Hammersmith, west London to view the quality and samples of the colours and finishes. Our showroom, though modest in size, houses all of the samples and finishes for all of our collections plus a capsule collection of our bestselling pieces.

Amode, now celebrating our 5th anniversary will continue to champion the exceptional quality and design of Italian furniture.
We hope see you at our showroom soon,
