Something Different in Bed Design

Tuesday, 29 March 2011

Life can be so hectic in the 21st Century and it is commonplace that people are feeling more stressed with many reporting that their sleep patterns are constantly disrupted or at worst chaotic.  Some of the problem can be caused by the muddled and disorganised design of bedrooms.  Our range of bedroom furniture puts an end to that traditional UK bedroom chaos and includes beautiful, clean lined Italian designed beds that create a bedroom that is uncluttered, relaxing and more importantly sleep inducing.

The contemporary design of Italian bedroom furniture is perfect for the 21st Century – it is efficient in design yet beautifully constructed using linear lines – the key to promoting relaxation.  There are a number of beds in our range that are so completely different to the traditional beds that are available in the UK market; very different in terms of design, that we think you will find irresistible.  Here we showcase the most beautiful beds that will be the focal point of your bedroom and will encourage an uncluttered room that dreams are made of!

The Fiume Modern Platform Bed is a contemporary Italian design in laminated dark oak – its features are immediately striking and the clever design also incorporates a base storage unit.  Another beautiful bed is the Mala High Gloss Italian Bed that offers the opportunity to mix and match the base and headboard in Black or White High Gloss. The Mala bed again uses the design feature of straight, orderly lines and the low base, set against a backdrop of mirrored storage immediately creates that all important space.  There is however another modern and inspiring bed from the Italian designer collection that creates a pinnacle in terms of modern ideas for the bedroom and that is the amazing Filo XL Contemporary Leather Bed.  The designers have excelled in their design of a bed that has the illusion of floating.  This idea of floating is a connotation of sleep – the Filo designers have surpassed traditional bed design with their ability to create a stylish modern bed that incorporates a sleep theme at the very core of the innovation.

All the beds in our Italian designer range look stunning when co-ordinated with linear designed chest of draws and tallboy units that will help create an illusion of perspective and space in the bedroom.  2011 is the year of ridding the bedroom of clutter and creating a relaxing designer bedroom.

The UK Furniture & Design Industry Market
Monday, 14 February 2011

There is a strong link between the furniture market and the housing market in the UK. In times of economic insecurity especially, this link can be clearly identified. As the housing market stagnates it would seem logical to presume that the furniture market would decline.
