Design Notes

Nothing about the Penelope chair is accidental – each element of the design was highly deliberated, well considered and executed in order to bring out the perfect balance between style, comfort and practicality.

Penelope Dining Chair, Metal Legs

Those with an eye for design will immediately recognise the superior quality and finish of the Penelope dining chair. The stylish curved and scoop-back upholstery design creates a break from the ordinary, drawing the eye to the chic, elegant forms of the backrest. Moving further down you are greeted by the gently sloping backrest which meets the seat, which gives a voluptuous silhouette.

The Penelope chair is undoubtedly a marvel of modern Italian design, however it really earns its gold star in the comfort department. The ergonomically formed backrest curves in at just the right level, and the backrest has been designed with internal lumbar support in order to offer additional comfort to the upper and lower back.

The Penelope chair is designed and made in Italy by a skilled collective of furniture makers, pattern-cutters and upholsterers who have the utmost level of care and attention.

Size: L52 x D60 x H91cm. Seat height: 48cm.
